I’m the chair of the Vancouver Chapter of Surfrider Foundation Canada. Surfrider has been working for over 40 years to ensure ocean and beach health and access for all. We do regular beach cleanups, water testing, and campaign on issues affecting ocean health such as plastic pollution, coastal climate resilience, and water quality.

I’m involved in old-growth forest and ecosystem protection in British Columbia in support of Ancient Forest Alliance and the Nature Based Solutions Foundation.
